Find out how to achieve a Plan-it Certificate and earn points towards a GCSE – through ASDAN
As you work your way through the Plan-it system you can collect evidence towards a Plan-it Certificate. The completed certificate (which has to be checked and issued by Connexions West of England) will earn 3 of the 12 credits needed towards an ASDAN award called the Certificate of Personal Effectiveness (CoPE).
The full CoPE Qualification, at Level 1, will earn 25 GCSE points (equivalent to grades E - F). At Level 2 CoPE will earn 46 GCSE points (equivalent to GCSE grade B)
To find out what you need to do to get a Plan-it Certificate go to www.myplan4life.org and click on the Plan-it button. From the Plan-it Home Page click on the certificate image.
Apply for a Plan-it Certificate
Usually your school tells Connexions West of England which students should be registered for the Plan-it Certificate. However, if you think you have done enough to get a Plan-it Certificate, and your school hasn't registered you for it, YOU can apply direct to Connexions to receive a certificate.
Connexions will then contact your school and ask a teacher to check your work and provide evidence that an adult has talked to you about your Plan-it work.
If you have done enough for a Plan-it Certificate and want to apply direct then click on the link below to send an email
